Adgitize was founded by Ken Brown to provide an alternative advertising platform for bloggers. A social gathering area in our forum where bloggers can share ideas for blogging, advertising, earning revenues and raise blog traffic growth. Adgitize has a unique point system that translates into real dollars for bloggers with blogs of all sizes big or small.

Adgitize began in the summer of 2008 by the developer of the successful web site You Can Learn Series.

Where Did the Name Adgitize Originate?

This is a combination word coming from Advertising and the word Agitate.

Agitate means to give motion to or to move with irregular or violent action. To arouse public feeling.

Advertise means to make something known publicly. To announce by notice or broadcast. To arouse a desire for action.

Adgitize then is to arouse our customers to action. To get people to take action by writing in their blog, by visiting other blogs and by clicking on ads.

Adgitize will help bloggers gain traffic, interact with other blogs, grow their blog into a successful business and gain much needed fellowship with the blogosphere. Our goal is to help bloggers get “World Class Advertising on a Blogger’s Budget.”

Maximizing Your Earnings as an Adgitize Publisher

You probably joined Adgitize to help cover the costs of web hosting and associated blog expenses. So, one of the questions I hear most frequently from bloggers is, “What do I have to do to maximize my earnings with Adgitize?” This article will give you some tips and advice to help you make the right choices for your blog.

You have decided that you want to be a publisher. Do you know how to get the code you need to place on your blog? The first step is to log in to the Adgitize Member’s Lounge. You might just notice that it is completely secure utilizing the Network Solutions SSL Certificate. We have your safety and security in mind for every aspect of working with Adgitize.

Next, find the menu item labeled Get Code. This takes you to the section of the site where you can manage all your blogs. If you want to create a new blog or edit an existing blog the tools to make those choices are available. But, for today, let’s get the code we need to place on our blog to begin earning revenue from Adgitize.

Choose the Get Code Button for the blog you want to get the credit for the points earned. Each day all the points earned by all your blogs are accumulated into one day’s record. Now you will be presented with some choices. Do you want to place a 468px by 60px ad on your blog or a 125px by 125px ad? Make sure you have enough space to handle the ad size you choose. Once you choose the size you also have the ability to choose one ad per view or up to 4 ads per page view.

The More Ads You Choose the More Ad Views Points

This is where you can maximize your earnings. The more ads you choose the more ad views points you will earn. The ad network is designed to never show the same ad on the same display. So, if we have 10 adveritisements to show, we evaluate the ads and make sure you only see one ad per member. Even if a member has multiple ads in our system, you will only see one of their ads at a time.

It used to irritate me when I would have 4 ads to be displayed by a company and I would see 4 ads for one blog. We don’t do that. Mousing over the links for the ads will show you what the ads will look like and the amount of space they will require.

Then choose one of the links. A page opens up and code is generated that is specific to your blog. Copy that code and place it on your blog. Then, whenever anyone visits your page, our ad segment will be shown. Everytime our ad segment is shown you will score a point for each ad being shown. These will be Ad View Points. You can see how many you score each day in the Adgitize Reports section.

You will score additional points known as Page View points when anyone visits a page with our ad segment on it.

Now Maximize Your Scores

To summarize briefly, you can score the most points by placing a One by Four Adgitize ad group on your site. You can maximize the Page View scores by showing the Adgitize ad groups on as many pages as possible. Now at the bottom of each ad group is the words Adgitize Me. Whenever a visitor to your site clicks on that they are taken to the Adgitize Home Page. The cool thing is there is a code attached to that image with your name on it. If your visitor joins with Adgitize after clicking on the Adgitize Me link then you get credit for that referral. This means more opportunities for you to earn.

As a publisher you can also earn when you visit other publishers by clicking on the ads in the Adgitize Ad Groups. Now, don’t just click on the ads on your site. That is a waste of time. You only get credit for one click a day. But, make sure you are logged in and then click on an ad. That will take you to another site. Look for the Adgitize ad grouping and click on another ad. Then continue to follow through with that action until all ads have been clicked.

Not all advertisers are publishers and not all publishers are advertisers. So, if you ever get stuck just go to the Leaderboard in the Members lounge and click one of the links there to find more publishers. An important way to earn more money from the network is to write articles on your blog regularly. You can earn up to 100 points a day for one article a day.

Number One Way To Maximize Your Points

Finally, the number one way to maximize your earning potential is to become an advertiser. Nobody in the network will earn if we don’t have advertisers paying the bills. Just like TV. You may enjoy the science fiction channel but if no one pays for advertising then the channel will have to quit. So, the points in our system are weighted to favor advertisers. I highly recommend you become an advertiser. It is less than 50 cents a day ($14) a month. You will get more traffic to your blog, plus, you will earn more from the Adgitize Network.

So, to wrap up, get the code to place on your blog. You don’t earn as a publisher without the Adgitize Ads showing. Maximize your ad groups. Check out the other blogs in our network. And become an advertiser if you can.
